Competing in the CAG Big 4

For the last month I  have been chasing big carp as I have been competing in the national CAG Big 4 tournament.  This tournament pits about 70 of the best carp fishermen in the US, Canada and Mexico against one another in a contest to see who can amass the greatest poundage with 4 of their largest carp.  There are prizes for the top 3 scorers along with prizes for the biggest mirror and the biggest common.
I have no chance to win the biggest poundage.  There are guys from this group that will score an average of almost 35 lbs. a fish!  These are fishermen who fish the St. Lawrence, the rivers along the Great Lakes and big rivers in the Midwest.  My goal  has always been a top 10 finish. In three previous Big 4 tournaments I have placed 6th, 7th and 8th.
What I do have a shot at winning is the biggest mirror carp. We have big mirrors here in NE and guys who fish this area have a shot at the biggest one.  In the past I have won this prize with fish of 32 and 40 lbs.
Currently I am sitting in second place overall with a total poundage of 122 lbs, 12 oz.  My fish weigh as follows: 40 lbs., 2 oz., 28 lbs., 4 oz., 27 lbs., 4 oz., and 27 lbs., 2 oz.  My 40 lb., 2 oz. mirror is the biggest mirror caught thus far and the biggest carp in the entire tournament so far.
The tournament ends in three days.  We'll see what happens.  Stay tuned.
